About:Employee Assistance Program (EAP) area employers can contract for counseling services for their employees and their family members residing in the same household through the Sarah Bush Lincoln Employee Assistance Program. The program provides comprehensive, confidential and professional assistance for problems related to the individual, couple, family or work environment that can adversely affect the employee, his or her family or his or her job performance. Services can be provided in office or via telehealth. Counselors occasionally provide group services at the worksite upon request and when scheduling allows. Informative podcasts are available at www.sarahbush.org/podcasts and monthly EAP flyer topics can be e-mailed to [email protected] (appointments cannot be scheduled through through this e-mail). Typical problems handled through EAP: • Family or marital conflict • Divorce/step family adjustment • Grief recovery • Conflict in the workplace • Alcohol or drug abuse • Co-dependency issues • Coping with health problems • Depression or other emotional illness • Basic financial management • Adjusting to change Emergency access is available 24 hours a day by calling 866-567-2400 (Clark, Coles, Cumberland, Edgar, Moultrie), 217-253-3511 (Douglas), 217-342-5504 (Effingham), 618-533-1391 (Fayette), 618-783-8477 (Jasper), or 217-774-2113 or 217-774-3961 after hours (Shelby).
